Walker Books nominated for Publisher of the Year

Walker Books has been shortlisted for Publisher of the Year 2009.
Here's some reasons why provided by some of your favourite authors;

Everywhere else in the world I meet caution and nervousness.
Walker Books has managed to escape some of this, leaving space for experiment, fantasy, risk, wildness, quirkiness, oddity, beauty, jazz, feeling.
It kinda reminds me why you got into this malarkey in the first place.
